Rehydrate your customers and staff.
Healthy drinking water for leisure provides your customers
with the liquid they need.
Most people do not drink enough water. Experts recommend
that we drink at least 6-8 glasses of pure water a day.
Low fluid intake can lead to health problems and can affect
concentration and learning.
A growing number of facilities are improving our access to
drinking water. Public areas which have already set up water
schemes report that their staff are more content and can concentrate
and learn better as they are not so tired and irritable at
the end of the day.
Dehydration
If we do not drink enough fluid we can become dehydrated.
Dehydration can cause a variety of symptoms including:
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Poor concentration
- Lethargy
- Irritability
- Decreased mental performance
- Impaired physical & sports performance
- Dry mouth and bad breath
Dehydration is also associated with:
- Constipation
- Acute appendicitis
- Urinary tract infections (especially in girls and women)
- Kidney problems including kidney stones
Drinking water facilities
Unfortunately, many premises across the country do not have
adequate drinking water facilities. Drinking water is often
only available in the toilet areas (not very appealing) and
some premises have no drinking water facilities at all.
But there is good news, there are lots of ways in which access
to good-quality drinking water can be improved . Ideally premises
should install water coolers and/or water fountains which
are easy to use and affordable.
AWC are here to help, advise, supply, install and maintain
any drinking water fountains you may require. Call us now
